Currently I don't plan to do any other improvements. However, if you need some feature you can still send suggestions to me. If I like it I will try to add it to a future version.
I do have ideas about a possible future direction but I'm happy with the current status of APCComm and don't really need more features. You can still read my ideas:
Basically there are 2 different development directions:- keep apccomm as a stand alone program which is better for calling from third-party programs (i.e. DOpus)
- switch apccomm to a filesystem (like PC2Am) to allow every program access the linux side
- timeout handling
- run as daemon in background
- running through pipeline
- dos-handler/exec-device
